Privacy Policy

Effective date: November 1, 2026

This policy describes what information is handled when you read pianonadu.com, how the operator uses it and what choices you have. The operator is the person or organisation running this piano and music blog. In the text below, “we” stands for that operator.

Visit logs

When a page about a digital piano or a practice method is requested, the server that delivers it records a log entry. An entry can include your IP address, the date and time, the address of the page, your browser and device type, and the page that sent you here. We use these records to keep Pianonadu running, to find broken pages, to block abusive traffic and to see in broad terms which subjects readers open most.

Cookies and similar technology

Pianonadu can store small files or other data in your browser. Some of them help pages load correctly. Others, where switched on, count audience numbers, remember a display choice, support advertising or note which link led a reader to a music retailer so that an affiliate referral can be attributed. A cookie set by an advertiser or analytics tool is handled by that company under its own rules, not ours.

Controlling tracking in your browser

Your browser lets you delete stored cookies, refuse new ones or open a private window before reading about a keyboard you are thinking of buying. Extensions that block trackers are another option. When your browser announces a do-not-track or global privacy preference, we count it as a request to opt out, as far as our analytics and advertising settings can act on it. Blocking certain cookies may change how some embedded content, such as video demonstrations, behaves.

Emails and forms

If you write to [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you decide to include, such as a question about a keyboard or a lesson plan. We read that text so we can answer you, and if you have found a mistake we check the article it concerns. A copy stays in the mailbox so a later follow-up makes sense. We do not sell your messages and will not publish them without asking first.

Newsletters

If Pianonadu offers a newsletter or sign-up form, the details you enter are used for that purpose, such as sending the practice tips or gear notes you requested. Every issue carries a way to opt out, and a short email asking to be taken off the list works just as well.

Outside services

Running a music blog involves providers beyond our control. These may include hosting and content delivery, analytics, advertising and affiliate networks, and embedded material such as audio players or video from other platforms. They may receive technical information about your visit so their service can function, and they handle it under their own notices.

How long information is kept

Raw visit records are kept only for a short working period, after which they are erased or merged into totals that cannot point to a person. Emails are kept while they remain useful for replying, for fixing an article or for meeting a legal duty, then deleted. Analytics data held by providers follows their retention schedules.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may be able to ask what personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or erased, object to certain uses or withdraw consent you previously gave. To make a request, email [email protected] and say what you would like done. Before acting we may ask for proof that the request comes from you, and we will answer within whatever time limit applies where you live.

Children and lessons

Many readers are parents of young piano students, but the site is written for adults and is not directed at children under 13. Pianonadu has no feature that asks a child for personal details. If your child has emailed us, let us know and the message will be removed.

Security

The pages are served over encrypted connections, and access to the mailbox behind the contact address is restricted. Even so, nothing sent across the internet or stored online is entirely safe, so we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

Transfers across borders

The providers behind Pianonadu may process data in other countries, where rules can differ from those near you. By continuing to read the site you accept that information may travel in this way.

Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated when the blog adds new tools, such as a different analytics service or a newsletter, or when the law requires it. The effective date above shows when the current version began, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised text.

If you are unhappy

You may take back any consent you gave us at any point; what happened before stays lawful. See the cookie policy page for the cookies in use and how to manage them. If you live in the EU, EEA or UK you can complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office); in Australia, to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
